AttributeError: 'Envelope' object has no attribute 'clientType'

Alexei Vinidiktov
Hello,

I'm trying to use PyAMF with web2py web application framework on Windows, running Active Python 2.7.

I have this code:

pyamf_request = pyamf.remoting.decode(request.body, context)
pyamf_response = pyamf.remoting.Envelope(pyamf_request.amfVersion,pyamf_request.clientType)

and I get this error:

AttributeError: 'Envelope' object has no attribute 'clientType'

Hi,

clientType was removed in 0.6 as it is not part of the AMF Remoting spec.

Update your code to:

pyamf_request = pyamf.remoting.decode(request.body, context)
pyamf_response = pyamf.remoting.Envelope(pyamf_request.amfVersion)

Cheers,

Nickd
