Hey folks,

Email below from a user of the PyPI RSS feed.

All the best,

Hi,

I am on a Mac running Safari.  In the last few days, I get notifications of new updates to the Packages on my link to the RSS URL <a href="feed://pypi.python.org/pypi?%3Aaction=rss">PyPI recent updates.  When I clink on my bookmarked link, no new items are downloaded.

The RSS feed on new additions to the Packages works fine.

Mel

I can't see a problem. Please confirm the two urls you're referring to are:

not working: http://pypi.python.org/pypi?%3Aaction=rss
working: http://pypi.python.org/pypi?%3Aaction=packages_rss

Looking at the RSS being generated it looks fine - plenty of recent
content there. The last-modified and etag information appears to be
correct as well, so caching is *probably* not an issue...
